چکیده

The progress of ferrites and ferrites-based nanocomposites has become extensively popular in the field photocatalytic wastewater treatment. This class compound exhibit several fascinating properties related with their high stability, low cost, ease functionalization, biocompatibility. Ferrites carry outstanding magnetic behavior that helps easy recovery from aqueous system thus reducing cost. morphology various such as magnetic, absorption, optoelectronic can be varied optimize by applying different synthetic routes reaction conditions. With this background we have briefly presented reviewed latest development photodegradation pollutants using based heterojunction. Especially, type-II, Z-scheme S-scheme heterojunction for enhanced pollutant degradation under exposure light are thoroughly describe. inherent potential water remediation applications hence many examples were consider to impart valuable knowledge readers. Nevertheless, large-scale utilization these nanoparticles still needs explored. Therefore, gaps, challenges future prospective also explained unveil un-scrutinized standard nanoparticles.

Photocatalytic Degradation of Organic Pollutants in Water

A photocatalyst is defined as a substance which is activated by adsorbing a photon and is capable of accelerating a reaction without being consumed [1]. These substances are invaria‐ bly semiconductors. Semiconducting oxide photocatalysts have been increasingly focused in recent years due to their potential applications in solar energy conversion and environmen‐ tal purification. Semiconductor ...
